The popular film festival started by Robert DeNiro has announced they are moving the annual event usually held in April to later next year.
After canceling this years event due to Covid-19 the festival organizers are readjusting the 2021 schedule by delaying until June 9, 2021.
The film festival will follow the form of many others by combining the physical event with virtual offerings. The shift in date is in hopes that Covid-19 will be under control next year and it will be safe to return to mass gatherings.
The event will take place from June 9 thru June 20, 2021. Submissions for the competition will open September 8, 2020 with a final late deadline of December 2.
