Nurse Mayflower (Jessie Buckley) bakes some macarons to give to her new boss in order to obtain the critical note and discover the author. Meanwhile, Ethelrida (E’myri Crutchfield) may or may not know who is in the coffin.

The real meat of the episode revolves around Josto Fadda (Jason Schwartzman) thinking himself clever as he manipulates Loy Cannon (Chris Rock) into killing Gaetano (Salvatore Esposito). Loy, however, catches on to Josto’s scheme though not fully realizing the extent of Josto’s lie.

Odis (Jack Huston) is confronted by ‘Deafy’ Wickware (Timothy Olyphant) and makes effort to leave town only to be pulled back in by Cannon’s gang. He also finds out about the outlaws Cannon is employing.

A solid episode that emphasizes the moral choices Loy Cannon must make upon hearing unfortunate news. Chris Rock gets a chance to let loose a little as Cannon keeping his gang in line while fending off threats from all sides.

The story takes center stage as many plot twists are liberally sprinkled throughout the episode. Even with all the twists there are still many questions left unanswered this time round. As the gang war rages on and the players search out one another there are bound to be severe repercussions for the choices made.

All in all this episode serves mainly to move the plot forward without getting into too much character development. Several characters are even missing with their whereabouts being focal points of the story. Undoubtedly, future episodes will make clear where everyone is at and how some story threads will figure into the main action.
