This morning brought the beginning of Awards season with the official announcement of the nominees for the 78th Golden Globe Awards. The Golden Globes have been awarded by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association since 1944.
Netflix leads the studios and networks with the most nominations and its film ‘Mank’ leads the nominees in the feature film categories followed closely by ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7’.
‘The Crown’ leads the television category.
The 78th Golden Globe awards will air on NBC, February 28. The show will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, reprising their previous hosting stints from 2013 and 2015.
