Here’s your full list of the Academy Award winners.
The Oscars returned last night with Jimmy Kimmel hosting for the third time after hosting previously in 2016 and 2017. After last year’s travesty of a production this year brought a return to form more fitting for the extravagant ceremony honoring Hollywood.
The night’s big winners were ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ winning 7 out of its 11 nominations. The multiverse fantasy took home Best Picture, Director and three acting awards along with Original Screenplay and Film Editing. The German remake of ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’ snagged 4 of its 9 nominations and ‘The Whale’ took home 2 out of its 3 nominations.
Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan both enjoyed big wins for Lead Actor and Supporting Actor respectively. International icon Michelle Yeoh won Lead Actress and Hollywood legacy Jamie Lee Curtis took the gold for Supporting Actress.
Indian film ‘RRR’ made history landing the win for Best Song, a first for a Bollywood film.
