‘The New Mutants’ after three years since filming wrapped takes top spot at weekend box office. The fantasy superhero movie with a horror influence is the last from 20th Century Fox studios prior to selling out to Disney. It is a spinoff from the highly popular X-Men movies.
‘Unhinged’ falls to number 2 after dominating last weekend.
‘Bill & Ted Face the Music’ zaps into third place with positive reviews. The third installment comes 29 years after ‘Bogus Journey’ and 31 years after the first ‘Excellent Adventure’ which, much like ‘The New Mutants’, sat on the shelf two years before being released.
