The Coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage the planet Earth. Over 1 million people have died and thousands more dying each day. World leaders have somehow been able to ward off death whenever they get infected by the fatal Covid-19 virus. Even the occupant of the White House called in the marines to airlift him to a hospital after he used experimental narcotics in a failed effort to remedy his condition.

Businesses remain closed for the most part. Those businesses that did manage to reopen before the global pandemic had subsided are now being forced to shutter again. Millions go without work frustratingly navigating how they will obtain the necessities for survival in the months to come.

Among the businesses to be hit the hardest are the theaters. Countless major film releases have been delayed to hopeful release dates in 2021 AD. Among the latest in major film delays is Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune’ starring Timothee Chalamet. Originally set for December 18, 2020 the epic science fiction adaptation, a remake of the 1984 David Lynch film, is now scheduled for October 1, 2021. The same day that Robert Pattinson starrer ‘The Batman’ is set for. Expect at least one of those films to move again.

For now, only a small handful of films currently hold a 2020 release date, though nearly all are expected to move accordingly. ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ and ‘Death on the Nile’ are most likely to vacate their Christmas and December 18 release dates soon. As is the Tom Hanks starrer ‘News of the World’ from December 30.

As the great majority of intelligent life here on planet Earth utilized their common sense and take Covid-19 seriously there are some more blatantly moronic life-forms that absolutely refuse to take the deadly virus seriously. The prime example of this moronic form of life is President Sniffles, who even today as he still is infected with the virus and is taking countless experimental narcotics, insists on wandering around free amongst the still living population.

UPDATE: ‘The Batman’ has in fact just been moved from October 1, 2021 to a new release date of March 4, 2022.
