Somewhere in Antarctica a secret base is uncovered. Inside is a mysterious lab where unnatural experiments have been conducted. It seems during World War 2 nefarious Nazi’s created super-strength zombies and those nasty Nazi zombies have been given flying sharks to ride like Valkyries into battle.
To combat these flying menaces the U.S. revives an elite squad of soldiers who proved their mettle during the Vietnam War. It’s zombies vs. zombies on flying sharks in a gloriously over the top sci-fi horror comedy with some surprising names in the cast.
That is the premise for the sci-fi horror comedy ‘Sky Sharks’. Directed by Marc Fehse with a script by Fehse, A. D. Morel and Carsten Fehse, ‘Sky Sharks’ is hoping to have its day on the big screen in Germany next month. After many delays over the past year due to the inescapable global pandemic, a theatrical release date is tentatively set for March 18.
‘Sky Sharks’ features some fan favorites including the horror icon himself, Tony Todd. Joining Todd on this romp is popular character actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Amanda Bearse whom we all remember from the classic vampire film ‘Fright Night’ and the hit series ‘Married with Children’, and the fan favorite character actress from ‘American Horror Story’ Naomi Grossman. Film fans may also recognize director Mick Garris of ‘Sleepwalkers’ and ‘Critters 2: The Main Course’, along with the voice of Diana Prince.
‘Sky Sharks’ is currently available in some regions on Blu-Ray, DVD or VOD. Check your outlets to find it near you.
