Writers Guild of America Awards – Winners List

by Conan Simmons – March 21, 2021 – 8:17 pm

The Writers Guild of America held a virtual ceremony tonight for their annual celebration of the best in writing for movies, television, documentary and news.

The WGA consists of two branches, the WGA East representing writers east of the Mississippi, and the WGA West representing writers west of the Mississippi. The WGA awards brings them all together as one.

The WGA Awards don’t usually point to potential Oscar wins, though last year the winners for Original Screenplay and for Adapted Screenplay both went on to Oscar victory as ‘Parasite’ and ‘Jojo Rabbit’ took home both trophies.

It could happen again this year.
